Photographer / Producer

As Manager of Still Photography at Lucasfilm, I hire unit and studio photographers, edit, manage and distribute unit, studio, and behind-the-scenes photography from current features and live action TV series, curating the look and feel of Star Wars, Indiana Jones and Willow.

With over 15 years of experience in the entertainment industry, I’ve worked with Oscar-nominated and Emmy-winning filmmakers, as well as some of the best retouchers and VFX artists from Industrial Light and Magic to create publicity key sets, theatrical posters, magazine covers and CG assets. 

I have produced projects in several mediums including commercial and editorial photography, short film and theatre. After graduating from USC with a degree in journalism, I was editor-in-chief for The Deli Magazine in Los Angeles, a printed quarterly that covered bands from the local music scene. Early in my career I worked as a waiter in the executive dining room on the Warner Bros. studio lot, and as an assistant at Paradigm Talent Agency.

On weekends you can usually find me with my wife/adventure partner, our two boys and dog, hiking, surfing or exploring up and down the coast or in the mountains and forests of California. 

All of the photos on this site were shot on 35mm or 4x5” film and scanned for reproduction. The videos were shot using a Garmin VIRB 360.
